Thumper's Lesson,  who remembers the lesson Thumpers daddy taught him.  "if you can't say something nice, then don't say nuthing at all"  What Thumper said was true, but it was wrong for him to say that cause of how it could have made Bambi or his momma feel.  Bambi was doing his best he was trying.  Did you know that there are many verses on the tongue in the bible?  Let's see if we can stop some.

James 3:8  "But the tongue can no man tame; [it is] an unruly evil, full of deadly poison."  James tells us that we cannot tame our own tongue.  So how then can we control what comes out of it.  We must ask our Heavenly Father to control it for us.

Exodus 4:12 God tells Moses
“Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.”  that promise is still with us today.  God can and will teach us how to speak.

Psalms 39:1 "I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me." and

Ephesians 4:29
"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

Hey there frogesters,  our word for this week is trust.  Trust is defined as firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.  This weeks lesson in the Little Timothy and PeeWee page has been about how Joseph helps the king.  "Even though Jseph experienced difficult things in his life, he trusted God.  We will see more examples of his trust in God in this week's lesson.  Through Joseph's example, we learn that we can trust God.  He is always ready to help us.  Study the lesson text Genesis 41:1 to chapter 42:2 and also read Psalm 105:1-39 and Psalm 37:1-9." (taken from rbp teachers book)

Some other verses you may wish to look up is Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"  Also Titus 1:2 tells the only thing God cannot do.  "In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;"

DILIGENCE, n. L., to love earnestly; to choose.

1. Steady application in business of any kind; constant effort to accomplish what is undertaken; exertion of body or mind without unnecessary delay or sloth; due attention; industry; assiduity.

Simply put diligence is working hard until the job is finished.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 - Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do with thy might,,,"

Joseph bloomed where God had planted him.  Joseph was sold into slavery by his wicked brothers.  He was taken away from his home and had done nothing wrong.  Joseph had every right to sit and pout about what was done to him.  He had every personal right to refuse to work for Potipher, but Joseph didn't.  Joseph served his master as he would the Lord.  Colossians 3:23 says "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;"  Joseph did his part and served with a willing happy heart and left the rest in God's hands.
We today should show diligence in all we do whether it is doing house chores, diligence in our allowences (money), school work and in reading, memorizing our bible and praying.

Daily Chores

Morning: Get Dressed and make bed (5 min)
Brush hair and teeth (5 min)
Devotion time in the bible and prayer (10 min)
Mom's Choice Chore (See mom for one chore for the morning

Evening: Homework if school
Load school bag for school tomorrow
Night Devotion time in the bible and prayer (10 min)
Clean up room from days play (10 min)
Brush hair and teeth (5 min)
PJ's and put dirty clothes in hamper

Pretty simple try this for a little while and before you know it, it has become habit and not really chores at all.

Repentance Continued:
I'm still studying on repentance and am learning so much more than I ever thought possible. I was watching the video "How To Tell True Repentance" On point #2 the preacher brought out Only Repentance can cut down on the reaping of sin's consequences. The next words made me sit straight up, because I had never ever heard this before. There is a difference between confession and repentance. Confession is saying I am sorry and that gets your sins forgiven, while repentance is doing a complete turn around in heart, mind and life, to repent meant to change. Confession and repentance do overlap, to repent means to head in a different direction to make an about face. Jonah 3 Nivevah didn't just confess, they did a 180 degree turn around from the king to the cows they all repented. Once you commit sin you throw into motion certain consequences that just confessing or admitting won't take care of and nothing will stop all the consequences of sin. If you are considering a sin stop and look at the consequences and consider them." When he said that about considering the consequences I thought to myself here you are considering doing something that I knew was wrong. It seemed the only comfort I was receiving from the Lord was Galatians 6:9-10 "And lut us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." I sat and wondered why these verses were on my heart so much. Didn't God see what was happening in my heart, didn't He see me wanting to quit, give up, wonder away? Yes He did and then he brought to my heart and mind the book I had read to the teens last year called "Hinds Feet In High Places" Oh how my heart broke when Much Afraid the character in this book cried out to the Shepherd. She said It is in this very moment she screams out to the Shepherd, " Shepherd! Shepherd! Help me! Where are you? Don't leave me? the next instant He is their holding her and she is sobbing You may do anything, you may ask anything .....the next thing struck me hard to my very soul. Much Afraid is crying out O my Lord, don't let ME LEAVE YOU. Entreat me not to leave thee nor to return from following after thee." All the other hopes and dreams that the Shepherd had said she could and would have in the high places were nothing except for her love for Him. She learned she wanted only the Master and nothing more and nothing less. "Prone to wonder Lord I feel it prone to leave the God I love" I just reposted that blogpost on facebook and as I am sitting here crying my dear, sweet, Holy Father is whispering to my own heart saying you may leave my side and walk away. Hurt is hurtful at times and it doesn't seem to be worth alot to stand in the gap like I spoke about in Ezekiel 22:30. But you may wish to stop and consider that if you faint now, you stop following me now consequences on you will be pending. Those children who are following and looking at you they will fall victim to Satan and really he is the only true enemy in all this. I then hear Him (the sweet Lord whisper) also remember the lesson of "Stand still and let me work". Of course, I have to say yes I sure do. You remember what I told you in that lesson. My heart doesn't want to answer but I do you told me to be still and rebel not. So forward I go, I may have a few more tears to shed as I learn this new lesson, but yes dear Lord with your help and guidance I will journey on with you.

Repentance
 Defined as Real penitence,
1. Sorrowful for past conduct or words.
2. Sorrowful for sin.
3. Expressing or showing sorrow for sin; as repentant tears
Wow I have been learning a lot about repentance and forgiveness lately. I think the Lord allows us to go through our trials to teach us things we may overlook on our daily walk.
"1. There is two sides of forgiveness the forgiver and the receiver."
"2. The container necessary to receive the cleansing is repentance"
While we ought to decide ahead of time to forgive no matter what happens, no matter what has been done to us. We can't force someone to receive the forgiveness. God wants to forgive us all and He will if we will receive it through repentance. "A heart without repentance will walk all over compassion. A heart without repentance will trend on and smash till compassion is no longer compassion it is indulgence."
I also have learned that God gives us all space to repent. We too should give others space to realize what they have done and why it would be wrong in God's eyes and mans. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory Philippians 2:3 when I read that I had to stop and think how many times I should have shut up walked away and said nothing, cooled down as Eph 4:26-27 and thought it through from the point of view of God before I opened my mouth. It is better to be thought a fool then open your mouth and remove all doubt. Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding." It is not always the easiest thing to do but it is doable. I then thought well if they sinned wouldn't they know they sinned. No, not really cause sin has a blinding effect on us. It takes God's word and His Holy Spirit teaching us that is why 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" Also II Corinthians 7:10 "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death" I am saying all this to say whether you are seeking man's forgiveness for something you have done wrong or God's forgiveness you must realize what you have done, why it is wrong, get pride, hurt and anger out of your way (repentance) Matthew 5:23-24 "Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the alter, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee: Leave there thy gift before the alter, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother and then come and offer thy gift." God's forgiveness for salvation is the same concept you realize that your a sinner in need of a Savior. You repent of the fact you are a sinner, deserving of hell Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned;" Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Once you have realized that you simply must do what Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." To many people just are blindly saying oh I'm sorry and not seeking or having true repentance. That is why in the last days some will hear Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
"Forgiveness is like a liquid it is God's antidote to the poison of sin" God has provided all that we need as far as forgiveness is concerned You have to be willing to receive God's gift of repentance then you have a way to receive God's forgiveness or man's repentance if you don't have repentance you can't receive forgiveness."
