More Lesson's from the Accident

Looking back on the accident and the three weeks since.  I  have truely learned some  valuable lessons.  The first and most important one is that  God  does and will  continue to always be good.  He not  only kept us safe but He has paid all the bills.  I have also learned that listening and obeying the doctors and husband help you not to be in the cast they said I would have to be in for 6 to 10 weeks. 

Obeying is one of those hard lessons that I am learning right now.  However, the more I put obeying in practice the more I am realizing that I have nothing to really worry about.  I can rest in the promises of God.

Patience is another one of those things that I am learning and with patience comes tribluation.   Boy I wish I already had that lesson learned.

Lessons From A Car Accident

Passenger side rear.  Hit there first and then spun around and hit the passenger side front headlight.

 I praise the Lord that my daughter listened and obeyed God immediately when she heard someone tell her curl up in a ball with legs and person facing mommy's seat.  Airbag missed her completely unlike me I got both bones in my lower right arm broke.

Science Project

One Day At A Time

You have all probably heard that song  One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus.  Well this week I got to really thinking about One Day at a time.  I am one of those people who worry (yes I know that is a sin and am working on it).  I would do my quite time with the Lord and be happy that I accomplished that, but then I would start worrying about tomorrow.  What if I fall and forget to do it or worse get to busy to do it?  This worry has plagued me for some time.  But then like everything else in my life the Lord pulled on my heart and showed me the verse, yet again Matthew 6:34 "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the marrow shall take thought for the things of itself, Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof"  It was in that verse that the Lord showed me again that tomorrow has enough in it to worry about itself.  This time the Lord also showed me that to enjoy today and the good, godly things that are in today for tomorrow you might have some evil come your way.  We are only promised this moment, not tomorrow.  Praise the Lord that today you obeyed, today you found peace, today you had joy.  The Lord wants us to live each day as the gift that He has meant for it to be.

Freedom Is Not Free

Happy Memorial Day everyone.  Today is a day set aside to remember those who gave their lives so that we might have freedom.  I titles this little post Freedom Is Not Free and it isn't.  Our freedom cost someone going out and fighting for it from the Revolutionary war all the way to today our fight with terouist who want to take our christian freedom.  Some in our world today just don't seem to get this small yet important fact.  America wake up, dears it is time to see our true enemy the roaring lion of Satan.  He has set his eyes on our weak, volunarable people (in gov. and else where) who have gone to sleep.  Those who have taken what we have for granted.  Our forefathers fought for this great country and died to preserve the heritage of following God.  Christians you have fallen asleep as well.  You have given Satan ground that rightfully belonged to God.  Search you hearts this day look for the ground in your life that you might have knowing or unknowing given to Satan and reclaim it back.  What is the ground that I am talking about?  It may be as simple praying and reading your bible more or it could be a little more complicated like a sin you have let creep into your life.  Whatever it is you can reclaim that ground by asking the Lord to forgive  you and asking the Lord to take it back and rule it again.  Remember our fallen today and thank the service person that is still alive to hear your words of praise.
