A Blessed Week

Today I sit here to say that I am a blessed woman.  I have an awesome, well adjusted, sometimes humorous family.  I have two children you have claimed the Lord as their Savior and one who the Lord has called to be a Preacher.  I have a husband who is strong, loving, at times very rotten (in a good teasing way) and full of laughter.  I have a job that I love that allows me to work from home and raise my children.  I have a husband who allows me to stay home and raise them.  I have a church family who loves me and I love them each and everyone of them.  I have a family who loves me and cares for me and my family.  I have a husband who goes out in the cold, heat, snow or rain to make a good living for his family and brings home the bacon so to speak.  I am really a spoiled rotten woman if you stop and think about it.  I have a Lord and Savior who knowing who and what I was, still loved me enough to save me and make me one of His children.  I am truly and utterly B-L-E-S-S-E-D.

My New Dishwasher

As I read in the bible I have found that many if not most of the ladies in the bible had some sort of servants in there home.  Maidservants, manservant here a servant there a servant every where a servant which lead me to ask the Lord a very important question.  Where was my servants?  Okay, admit it you have thought that too ladies.  I know that I am not the only mom or wife who has asked that question.  Let me tell ya, there are no questions that the Lord will not answer in His timing.  I read a little while ago from a wise lady that God has indeed given us women today servants they are called the washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink/faucets, electric, and many more that escape my thinking right now.  Seriously think about how handy those things are and how convenient they have made our lives and housewives.  I have been without my dishwasher now for a few months.  It decided that it had had enough and decided to give up the ghost so to speak.  Now all it does is sit around and collect dust.  My well meaning husband would always say well we all need to pitch in and help you keep up with the dishes, but I could never bring myself to let him or the children help me.  But, it was driving me out of my tree cause dirty dishes would pile up faster than I was able to keep up.  So finally after much begging from my children and the overwhelming desire to have my kitchen kept clean I finally got another dishwasher.  Not one but two dishwashers they are both a little older model than I am use to but boy are they really cute.

Yep their a keeper would you say.

Women Living Well Blog: Facebook and Inappropriate Relationships

Lately, I have been following a blog called Women Living Well.  I must admit that I have been torn on whether to even bring up this blog, because she definatly does not use the same version of the bible as me.  However with that  being said and me stating that I am a FIRM, let me repeat that a FIRM believer in the King James Bible I have found a lot of things that I totally agree with her on.  This lastest issue that she  has brought up is something that has been brought up several times and in several ways to me.  Some people are totally for facebook and some are totally against it.  Some have seen the cruel reality of what facebook can and has brought about in others lives and some have seen good friendships grow.  I am going to link this ladies blog to mine.  It is something I definatly want all my friends and family to see.  I will later post what I have decided about facebook.  NOTE:  This is not aimed at anyone, but like all good topics this one needs to be addressed.  To Repeat this is NOT aimed at anyone, just some of my own thoughts and views.

The Shepherd's Point of View

As I was cleaning the house Sunday afternoon and listened to this song, me and the Shepherd spoke.  How could you be on the mountain and yet in the valley with me?  Foolish question maybe, but it was still a human child's question.  Then I began to remember that a Shepherd when watching a flock of sheep will usually find a high vantage point so that he can overlook the sheep and from that vantage point He can see all the sheep and any wild beast trying to sneak in to harm them.  The Shepherd can also see if one of the sheep are trying to wander onto a certain path and he can see where the path leads.  If the path has danger ahead the Shepherd will then go down and lead that sheep back to where He wants the lamb to go.

My Sweet Babboo

What a funny little valentine I have!  He is full of a great love, a quite love.  A love that is soo slow to fine fault and quick find love.  That funny, little smile and those words that are quick to tease and find fun and slow to find angry and hate.  Words can never quite do justice to how I feel toward you and I love you just doesn't seem like enough to say.  So heavenly daddy can you whisper to my husbands heart and tell him in words that only you can form how much his wife loves him.  Amen

To my sweet, sweet babbo from your sweet babbooette.
